2004.01.23 - Dwight York was convicted under federal racketeering charges and the land that "Tama-Re" resided on became the property of the US Government.
2005.06.09 - Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills began the demolition of the compund by symbolically tearing down the arched gate at the entrance with a front loader.
According to the Macon Telegraph, the 476-acre property was sold by the U.S. Marshals Service for $1.1 million.
